Requirements
What we're looking for
- Vocational Training (FPGS) in Electrotechnical and Automated Systems, Automation and Industrial Robotics, or similar training.
- Valuable: Technical Engineering, Degree, or Engineering in Electricity, Electronics, Automation, or related fields.
- More than 3 years of experience as an E&I Designer in industrial environments.
- Experience in chemical plants, petrochemical plants, or similar industrial processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for the development of technical documentation.
- Knowledge of ATEX regulations.
- Intermediate level of English (B1-B2).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of DCS/PLC, preferably Siemens PCS7.
- Experience with Plant 3D, E3D, or industrial 3D design tools.
- Knowledge of SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI).
- Experience with EPLAN.

We are selecting an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Designer to join a leading company in the chemical and industrial sector in Tarragona. The selected person will participate in engineering projects and the improvement of industrial facilities, forming part of a highly specialized technical environment. This is a stable position, with long-term incorporation and the possibility of professional development within strategic industrial projects.
What you'll do
- Development and updating of Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) drawings and technical documentation.
- Participation in detailed engineering projects for industrial facilities.
- Review and management of technical documentation from suppliers and contractors.
- Coordination with the different engineering disciplines involved in the projects.
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation during all phases of the project.
- Technical support to the project team to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
- Updating of final project documentation and support in document management.
