We are looking for a professional with solid experience in mechanical manufacturing, welding and steel structures to carry out technical and quality follow-up at suppliers manufacturing containers for diesel generators intended for Data Centers.
🔧 Your mission
Ensure that the manufacturing and integration of these containers meets technical, quality, scheduling and final finishing requirements, working directly at supplier facilities in Asturias and Zaragoza.
On-site supervision of manufacturing at the plant.
Control of mechanical processes:
steel structures
welding
sheet metal work
ventilation
accesses and enclosures
Verification of drawings, technical specifications and customer requirements.
Control of milestones, intermediate inspections and final review.
Management of deviations, non-conformities and incidents.
Coordination with supplier, customer and internal engineering/quality.
Preparation of follow-up reports, risks and incidents.
Support in dimensional, visual and documentary inspections.
Monitoring of safety standards and good practices at the workshop.
Residence in Asturias or Zaragoza (or real possibility of working from one of them).
Weekly or biweekly travel between both areas.
Frequent on-site presence at the plant depending on project progress.
Profile senior or semi-senior, not junior.
At least 5 years in supplier quality, inspection, manufacturing supervision or production follow-up.
Demonstrable experience in steel structures, welding, boilermaking or mechanical integration.
Autonomy working at supplier facilities.
Technical judgment to detect deviations and prioritize risks.
Good communication with workshop, production, quality and engineering.
Practical, customer-oriented approach.
Documentation organization and clear reporting skills.
Flexibility and availability to travel between Asturias and Zaragoza.
Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
