We are looking to bring on board a Procurement Technician to join the Equipment and Materials Contracting Department team at Redeia Corporación.

What you'll do

  1. Define and coordinate purchasing strategies to meet needs, ensuring quality, profitability, sustainability and supply.
  2. Understand and analyze market trends and price quotations.
  3. Coordinate and manage the contracting process: planning, tendering, awarding and ordering, coordinating the parties involved.
  4. Resolve contractual disputes and ensure compliance with deadlines, deliveries and payments.
  5. Oversee compliance with contracts managed by project, verifying delivery and compliance with deadlines and payments.
  6. Participate in the fulfillment of the strategic plan and cross-cutting projects.
  7. Develop relationships with sector purchasing units and participate in forums.
  8. Drive and implement continuous improvement proposals.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering (Industrial, Telecommunications...), Business Administration, Economics or Business Studies.
  • Postgraduate training such as an MBA or similar is valued.
  • At least 6 years of experience in:
    - Contracting
    - Drafting of tender specifications and/or contracts.
    - Management of the purchasing process with negotiation.
  • Experience in the following will be valued:
    - Knowledge of contracting in excluded sectors.
    - Knowledge of execution and maintenance projects in the electricity sector (electricity transmission) for substation, line and/or telecommunications installations.
    - Knowledge of the life cycle impact and assessment of Circular Economy indicators (environmental product declaration, materials, use and end of life, manufacturing process and consumption...).
  • Provide an advanced level of English (C1 level) and an intermediate level of French (B2 level).
  • Computer skills:
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially advanced Excel), ERPs (SAP), and knowledge of tendering tools is valued.
    - Power BI for the use and creation of dashboards.
    - C++ programming.
