At Aduanas Alié (Rhenus Group) we are looking for a customs broker to join our team in Polinyà.

Your mission is to facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and to apply current and legally established commercial policy measures.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and apply current and legally established commercial policy measures.

- Stay up to date on legal information regarding regulations related to international trade and current customs regulations, as well as follow the development of amendments to laws and administrative regulations by the European Union.

- Determine the correct classification and taxable value of the product, according to its duties, restrictions, and customs controls, in accordance with rules of origin and agreements with other countries or groups established by the EU.

- Resolve issues arising in these operations.

- Carry out the compliance of assigned controls and procedures regarding Compliance.

- Collect evidence of the effectiveness and compliance of assigned controls and procedures regarding Compliance.

Tasks:

- Create and obtain the customs services required for goods to pass through customs correctly.

- Process and handle pending clearance requests.

- Oversee, advise, and support the importer and exporter of the goods.

- Act as an intermediary between importer and exporter when necessary.

- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements in all operations.

- Advise and look after the client in customs matters, providing accurate and up-to-date information on changes, trends, and statistics.

- Open case files by entering data into the computer system, assigning a reference number to each one.

- Prepare all necessary client documentation, according to the type of goods and country, and prepare the SAD (Single Administrative Document).

- Interact with the client to clarify any questions or issues regarding the necessary documentation.

- Submit the SAD via the network connection for registration and numbering.

- Transfer declarations submitted to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) to digital files.

- In the case of an "orange channel," submit the file to Customs for documentary review and approval (green channel). Manage the dossier with all submitted documentation for filing.

- In the case of a "red channel," arrange for the goods to be placed under customs inspection status, and update the dossier.

- Apply assigned procedures and controls regarding Compliance.

- Periodically collect evidence of the compliance and effectiveness of assigned controls and procedures regarding Compliance.
