We are currently looking to incorporate a Tender Technician for Photovoltaic Plants in Madrid, who shares our commitment to quality, responsibility, and excellent service.

What you'll do

  • Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams involved in preparing the tender (engineering, procurement, legal, financial), including partners or consortia.

  • Act as the single point of contact for the tender towards internal and external stakeholders.

  • Define and execute the tender strategy in line with the company's commercial and risk objectives.

  • Prepare the tender plan, including schedule, milestones, deliverables, and clear assignment of responsibilities.

  • Coordinate and ensure the quality and consistency of all tender documentation.

  • Analyze in depth the technical and commercial tender documents, identifying key risks, opportunities, and constraints.

  • Manage queries and requests for clarification with the client during the tender process.

  • Supervise site visits and validate information critical to the design and cost estimation.

  • Coordinate the development of the technical proposal with internal and external engineering teams.

  • Validate optimal technical solutions in terms of cost, performance, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure alignment between the design, budget, and execution strategy.

  • Issue requests for quotation (RFQs) to key suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Analyze technically and economically the received proposals.

  • Participate in strategic negotiations with manufacturers and contractors.

  • Prepare the complete tender budget (CAPEX, OPEX).

  • Develop the project schedule, cash flow, and payment milestone structure.

  • Prepare the economic close and documentation for internal approval.

  • Identify, evaluate, and quantify technical, commercial, and contractual risks.

  • Define mitigation strategies.

  • Actively participate in contractual negotiations with the client.

Requirements and competencies

We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and competencies:

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering (Electrical, Renewable Energies, etc.).

  • Organized and proactive attitude, with initiative and results-oriented mindset.

  • Rigorous and critical thinking.

  • Teamwork.

  • Results-oriented, with strong teamwork skills and ability to meet established deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel for occasional site visits for data collection on tenders.

  • Leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the sector.

  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, or Primavera at an intermediate-advanced level. Knowledge of PVSyst and other photovoltaic design software is a plus.

  • Advanced English proficiency.
