The role

Participate in the development of the electrical engineering associated with the design of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS), providing support to projects under development and to the preparation of EPC bids for third parties.

What you'll do

Develop the electrical design of large-scale solar photovoltaic plants, including layouts, electrical calculations, and measurements.
Design Transformation and Inverter (DC/AC) Stations, including the selection of equipment, control systems, and protections.
Prepare technical projects, design reports, and engineering documentation.
Perform the technical-economic evaluation of bids for electrical equipment and components for photovoltaic plants.
Prepare technical specifications for Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and provide support to the procurement and contracting processes for electrical works of photovoltaic plants, coordinating with contractors during the bidding phase.
Collaborate in the fulfillment of the company's objectives and goals regarding Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
Know and guarantee compliance with applicable regulations, as well as internal policies, manuals, and procedures related to their scope of action.
