The role

We are looking for a Mechatronics Technician within the Mine Maintenance area. Their mission will be the maintenance of teleremote systems and equipment (RET systems for shovel handling, etc.) to guarantee the correct functioning of the systems and machinery that work remotely.

What you'll do

Perform preventive electrical maintenance tasks on Sandfire MATSA's mobile equipment fleet, both indoors and outdoors, according to preventive maintenance plans, in order to achieve the target availability data for the various fleets.
Resolve breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance, both indoors and outdoors, on the Sandfire MATSA mobile equipment fleet.
Install, configure, maintain, and provide support for the teleremote systems of loading shovels (RCT), drilling machinery, and other machinery that the company introduces into operation.
Perform maintenance of remote controls for line-of-sight shovel operation.
Install and maintain transmitters (VHF and VOIP) and Pitram units in machinery, trucks, and light vehicles.
Complete work orders, quality checklists, incident reports, etc., for the repairs of the various pieces of equipment that make up the equipment fleet.
Handle and use manuals, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation for the correct performance of the assigned tasks on the equipment fleet, guaranteeing the rapid resolution of their problems.
Perform maintenance of electronic systems for current machinery and the future electric fleet.
