Requirements
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance / Test Automation Engineer.
- A native team player capable of working effectively within small, heterogeneous, and agile international teams.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) to communicate effectively within an international team and collaborate across different stakeholders.
- Outstanding QA Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, constructive communication, and empathy when delivering feedback or documenting defects to foster a collaborative culture with developers.
- Solid hands-on experience in API Testing (REST APIs) using tools like Postman, Bruno, or code-based libraries (Requests, RestAssured, Robot Framework).
- Proven expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Behave (or similar Gherkin-based frameworks like Cucumber/SpecFlow).
- Strong practical experience in Web UI Automation using Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Good skills in a programming language suitable for automation test frameworks (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#).
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and integrating automated tests into deployment flows.
- A proactive and growth-oriented mindset-an eager learner, passionate about continuously advancing their QA skills, exploring new testing tools, and staying up-to-date with quality practices.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, bug life cycle management, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- A hands-on mindset-you take ownership of quality and test execution from planning to release
The role
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable automated test suites for web applications, mobile app and microservices aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate actively within a multidisciplinary, international Squad (Developers, DevOps, UX/UI, Tech Lead, Product Owner, Product Manager) towards continuous delivery and high quality.
- Take ownership of testing strategy within the squad, managing test preparation, execution, and reporting from feature conception to production deployment.
- Perform end-to-end API testing (RESTful services), ensuring functional accuracy, performance, and data integrity.
- Implement and execute BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
- Build and maintain web and app automation scripts using modern tools like Playwright and Selenium.
- Champion quality assurance best practices and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure fast and efficient resolution.
