Data & AI Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Profile

• Completed degree in computer science or talented newcomer
• Enthusiasm for the topic of data engineering and software development
• Experience in cloud, containerization and big data, ideally with MS Azure, Kubernetes and Spark
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with developing data pipelines (batch, streaming)
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java)
• Knowledge of the software development cycle and its best practices (e.g. CI/CD, DevOps, testing)
• Analytical skills, agile mindset, independence and hands-on mentality

Your Tasks

• Develop and operate productive data pipelines for reports, analytics and machine learning and ensure their quality and future viability
• Use your software development skills and set new standards for development and deployment
• Optimize the performance of data engineering solutions and guarantee their scalability
• Ensure data quality and consistency through data validation and cleansing
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to minimize downtime
• Implement data security and privacy measures
• Work in interdisciplinary agile teams with data scientists, data engineers, product owners and specialist departments
