STACKIT Access Domain - Cloud Software Engineer (m/f/d)

• End-to-End Ownership: You take full responsibility for designing, developing, improving, and operating a suite of microservices and Kubernetes operators that power our cloud control planes.
• Architecture & System Design: You design highly available, scalable, and performant distributed systems. Applying software design patterns and architectural best practices is at the core of everything we build.
• Customer-centric APIs: You design and implement robust, scalable, and intuitive REST APIs for our products.
• Automation: You develop software to fully automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of our services.
• Quality & Maintenance: You champion code quality through code reviews, thorough unit and integration testing, and documentation.
• Operations & Reliability: You support your self-developed services in production, proactively analyzing and resolving complex software issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaboration: You work closely within an agile environment where sharing knowledge is second nature. We tackle challenges together as a unit.

• System Design Foundation: You have a deep, mandatory understanding of distributed systems and industry best practices and design patterns.
• Networking Knowledge: You don't need to be a network engineering guru, but a solid foundation is required.
• DevOps Mindset (Recommended): Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/observability tools is a fantastic bonus.
• Education: You have a degree related with Tech, or you are a talented career changer with relevant professional experience.
• Languages: English is our default language. If you also speak German or Spanish, that is warmly welcomed.
