The role

At Sener, we wish to incorporate into our team a Mechanical Fitter
at our workplace in Zamudio, Bizkaia.

The selected person will collaborate on AIT Projects for Space and Defense products.

What you'll do

  • Assembly of mechanical and electronic equipment.

  • Traceability of production documentation.

  • Preparation and execution of measurements and tests associated with functional testing.

  • Preparation of reports and assembly procedures.

  • Handling of equipment in AIT facilities.

What we expect from you

  • Higher vocational training in Mechanical Manufacturing Design, Mechatronics, Maintenance, Electronics and automation.

  • Between 4 and 10 years of experience performing the described functions.

  • We especially value having experience as a mechanical fitter of precision machinery and as a testing technician.

  • Intermediate level of English.

  • Experience in interpreting blueprints and geometric tolerances.

  • Handling of all types of hand tools.

  • Knowledge of data acquisition systems, Labview,...

  • Experience in specification, design and commissioning of test tooling.

  • Desirable experience in electrical installations on mechanisms; IPC / J-STD certifications will be valued.

  • Experience in using software tools for production monitoring at the level of manufacturing order execution.
