UAS Pilot Technician

• Previous experience as a drone pilot in operational or technical environments.

• Technical training in electronics, aeronautics, mechanics, robotics, or design (Vocational Training or Degree).

• Experience in assembly, integration, and UAS flight (min. 2 years).

• UAS Pilot Certificate Open Sub Category A1/A3

• UAS Pilot Certificate in the Specific mode STS-01/STS-02

• Knowledge of CAD design and 3D printing.

• Driving license.

• Availability for on-site work and field trips.

At Sener we wish to incorporate a UAS Pilot Technician into our team at our Seville workplace.

We are looking to incorporate a UAS Pilot Technician to participate in the development, validation, and operation of advanced unmanned systems.

The position combines the operational piloting of UAS with technical tasks of design, assembly, integration, testing, and maintenance, ensuring at all times the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the operations.

What you will do

UAS mission operations and planning.

• Planning and execution of UAS missions in VLOS and BVLOS environments.

• Evaluation of operational risks and meteorological conditions.

• Operation of multirotor and/or fixed-wing platforms (including VTOL).

• Technical and operational support during flight campaigns and trials.

Integration, testing, and maintenance.

• Assembly, configuration, and manufacturing of UAS/UAV.

• Preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of the systems.

• Integration, calibration, and validation of sensors and payloads.

• Execution of functional ground tests and support for flight trials.

• Diagnosis of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and communication faults.

• Preparation and updating of technical documentation for tests and incidents.

Documentation and safety

• Completion of flight logs and operational records.

• Communication and reporting of technical or operational incidents.

• Strict compliance with operational safety procedures and current regulations.
