Requirements

What we're looking for

• Dynamic and adaptable candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and suggests new ideas

• Proactive thinker with a natural ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients

• Openness to change and ability to easily adjust to shifting priorities and new challenges

• Strong communicator and skilled listener who responds to the needs of others

• Creative problem-solver who continuously looks for ways to improve processes and procedures

• Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborates effectively with colleagues from different departments

• Critical and analytical thinker who conveys ideas clearly and persuasively

• Confident and assertive, yet empathetic and able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high quality and attention to detail

• Flexible and adaptable, thriving in an ever-changing business environment

Apply with us if you

● A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field is welcome, but not required — we care more about how you think and what you can build.

● 1–2 years of experience in finance — or a strong internship track record — with a consulting, transaction advisory or audit background (Big 4 / strategy / advisory) particularly welcome, and a great early-career move for someone switching from consulting into fintech. Experience at another fintech or financial-services company is equally valued. Recent graduates with the right drive are encouraged to apply.

● Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.

● Strong capabilities in attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

● Good research, quantitative, and analytical skills.

● Strong automation skills — hands-on use of Claude, ChatGPT or any other AI tool to build real workflows, controls and reports, with a genuine drive to push automation further (scripting / Python / SQL a plus).

● Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

● Solid financial-modelling foundations — comfortable building and working in models, with the drive to develop towards owning them.

● A strong instinct for documentation and process mapping — you naturally write things down, map how a workflow runs, and keep a traceable record that supports governance and internal-audit readiness.

● Comfortable reading legal and commercial documents (facility agreements, term sheets) and translating their terms into numbers, controls and code logic.

● High ownership and intellectual rigour, with the integrity to stand behind numbers that lenders, investors and auditors will rely on.

Nice to have

● Knowledge of Metabase, Tableau or Power BI will be a plus.

● Exposure to securitisation, structured finance or funding facilities (transfer of receivables, concentration limits, rebates) is highly valued.

● Spanish and/or Portuguese would be a plus, given our growth across Southern Europe and Latin America.

● Exposure to lender or investor relations — reporting, due-diligence requests and presentation preparation — is a plus.

We are currently seeking a full-time Analyst, Structured Finance & Automation to join our Corporate Finance team - an early-career role sitting at the intersection of structured finance and AI-driven automation. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position ideal for someone in the first years of their career who is eager to learn the mechanics of structured finance while actively building the automated, AI-powered infrastructure that runs it. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Finance, you will own both the analytical rigour of our funding facilities and the automation mandate that is reshaping how we operate them.

Day to day, you will support the full execution cycle across SeQura's funding facilities - transfer of receivables, rebate and concentration-limit monitoring, financial reporting and compliance with facility documents - while actively building the automated workflows that make those processes faster, more reliable and easier to audit. Working closely with senior colleagues, you will contribute to financial modelling for new business lines, help build and review reporting, and validate that every receivable is correctly recognised.

What sets this role apart is its AI mandate. We are looking for someone with a genuine eagerness to automate - getting hands-on with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and other AI platforms to build automated workflows for controls, reconciliation and reporting, with guidance and support from the wider team on the more complex work. This is your place if you are proactive, hands-on, fluent with data, and excited to help build the automated, AI-driven backbone of a fast-growing fintech. If you are early in your career - including in consulting, advisory or audit - and want to move from advising on the numbers to working with them directly, you will feel right at home.

What we are looking for

What you'll do

Your personal challenge

In order to help our financial team to grow, you will be focusing on:

  • Ensure data integrity across the Treasury and Facilities teams — maintaining accurate, complete and aligned data flows as the foundation that supports everything else.

  • Support the operational and analytical execution across all of SeQura's facilities: transfer of receivables, rebate and concentration-limit monitoring, and monthly financial reporting.

  • Help implement a single facility-management software platform — a key priority — making sure every legal agreement is faithfully tied to how the facility function actually operates, so contracts, controls and reporting all run from one source of truth.

  • Ensure every step complies with how each facility is structured in its underlying documents, and validate that all receivables are correctly recognised and reported.

  • Bridge contracts and code: review the facility agreements to extract the key parameters (interest rates, concentration limits, eligibility criteria) and verify that the same logic and values are correctly implemented in the production systems — so what runs in the platform always reflects what was legally agreed.

  • Assist with financial modelling for new types of business, and help prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting.

  • Help coordinate with the range of stakeholders across the facilities, including lenders and potential equity investors, supporting senior colleagues on these relationships.

  • Build AI-driven automations — using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and similar platforms — to streamline controls, reconciliation and reporting workflows, learning and growing this skill set with support from the team.

  • Support investor due diligence and help prepare presentations for lenders, equity investors and other counterparties.

  • Collaborate in the preparation and development of investor and corporate-orientated materials, including quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, Q&A, and other associated materials.

  • Document processes and map workflows as you go — building a strong, traceable record of how the facility function operates to lay the groundwork for solid governance and internal-audit readiness.

  • Cluster and maintain these automations in a central, well-documented repository so they work consistently across the finance function.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Your first 6 months

We have a clear ramp-up path designed to set you up for success:

• Months 1–2 — Understand the business: get deep into the facilities, the Treasury–Facilities data flows and the underlying facility documents.

• Months 3–4 — Generate small automations: identify repetitive controls and reconciliation steps and start automating them with AI tools.

• Months 5–6 — Automate reporting and consolidate: build out automated reports, support the rollout of a single facility-management software platform, and cluster all your automations into a working, shared repository across the finance function.
