About the role

What you'll do

  • Ensure production continuity through proper maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities, complying with health and safety regulations and with the company's standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Carry out the installation and electromechanical commissioning of machines and equipment (compressors, HVAC systems, dryers, leak detection equipment, cameras, palletizers, etc.).
  • Perform periodic inspections of machines, equipment, and facilities, checking the corresponding parameters and readings from measuring instruments; detect and replace worn parts and promptly request the necessary spare parts or technical support from suppliers to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform the preparation, adjustment, and mechanical regulation of mold assemblies.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of machines and equipment in accordance with the maintenance plan.
  • Perform emergency repairs in the event of breakdowns, stoppages, or failures, ensuring the full recovery of machine and equipment functionality.
  • Provide support during inspections, reviews, and maintenance activities carried out by external suppliers.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities to track the useful life of equipment and spare parts.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent practical knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
  • Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM).
  • Good practical knowledge of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) standards.
  • Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and practices.
  • Ability to handle manual and electric forklifts.
  • Experience in a maintenance department within an industrial/manufacturing company.
