Serioplast, a world leader in rigid plastic packaging, is looking for a Shift Supervisor for its plant in Leioa, Spain!

• Supervise, coordinate, and support Machine and Packaging Operators, managing priorities, eliminating bottlenecks, and training production personnel to ensure the correct execution of their tasks.
• Participate in technical operations (for example, color changes, mold changes, blade changes, cleaning of equipment and lines, and assistance in line setup), as well as perform small repairs and ordinary maintenance tasks.
• Make immediate decisions regarding urgent problems on the production lines (stoppages, technical interventions, etc.), prioritizing at all times personnel safety, product quality, and production continuity.
• Authorize the start of production during machine startup and after format changes or major maintenance work, in collaboration with the Quality Department.
• Ensure immediate and accurate communication with the involved departments regarding relevant production issues, as well as provide timely reports on breakdowns and failures.
• Ensure the correct execution of the quality control plan during production and perform random product checks (for example, visual inspections, weight verifications, etc.).
• Collaborate in investigating the causes of incidents and in the implementation of corrective actions (specific quality controls, sorting and classification activities, processing of defective bottles in the warehouse, etc.).

• Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM).
• Good practical knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical and/or electronic systems.
• Good practical knowledge of measurement instruments and techniques.
• Good practical knowledge of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) standards.
• Good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and practices.
• Experience as a Shift Supervisor in an industrial/manufacturing company, preferably in the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) sector.
• Availability to work shifts.
