The role

We are selecting a Ship Inspector to join our team at the port of Valencia/Castellón on a temporary basis.

This is a temporary position, although if your performance is optimal, there is the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.  

Your mission: To guarantee the safety of maritime transport of agricultural products, facilitate international trade, protect the environment, and maintain product quality. Will you join the challenge?

What you'll do

  • You will perform sampling and measurements on trucks, land tanks, warehouses, terminals, ships, containers, and cisterns, both in land facilities and on vessels. 
  • You will certify the quantity in the loading and unloading of ships of solid and liquid agricultural products.
  • You will determine the quantities on ship and land, performing weighbridge weighings and empty tank inspections. 
  • You will transport samples to the office and laboratory. 
  • You will handle the preparation, labeling, and packaging of samples for shipment.
  • You will prepare operational reports.
