- High Level Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related subject
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Oracle EBS R12 on any of the following processes:
- Order to Cash (O2C)
- Record to Reporting (R2R)
- Procure to Pay (P2P)
- Supply Chain
- Experience Oracle Fusion Cloud is desirable
- Strong experience in supporting testing activities including unit testing, regression and user acceptance testing. Experience with automated testing would be a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) process and standards.
- Solid experience in managing activities with external suppliers like Oracle.
- Relevant experience managing requirements through the entire delivery and operational life cycle.
- Experience on business analysis frameworks and techniques – e.g. business process modeling, continuous improvement, requirements analysis, user stories and use cases definition, etc.
The role
Senior Business Analyst (SBA) is a role within the Information Technology (IT) Corporate team. The SBA works alongside with the business and functions stakeholders to improve their processes and systems. He/she understands the business and is responsible for assessing needs and resolve Incidents and requests coming from multiple stakeholders. The SBA also assesses the impact across business lines, functions and solutions, is responsible for translating them into documented requirements and can support their prioritization.
The SBA follows agreed standards and applies appropriate techniques to analyse and document applications and business requirements, feed backlog, create epics, user stories, high level and detailed functional designs, define acceptance criteria, review and validate testing plans and oversee UAT. He/she works with the technical teams to ensure the specifications are properly understood and supports the creation of training materials when needed and the development of the knowledge base of application features.
- Provide 2nd or 3rd Level Support as required working closely with outsourcer of application support for escalated or urgent issues which require high-level of expertise.
- Collaborate with Implementation, Solution Architect, Delivery and Outsourcer of Application Support for any initiative that will require Support engagement.
- Attend internal and external service meetings (when required) to discuss escalated issues and improvement plans.
- Partner with outsourcer of application support to improve relationships, monitor performance and quality of services.
- Monitor escalated issues closely and assist outsourcer in resolving them according to applicable escalation procedure.
- Create and foster strong relationships with business, management, technical partners and external service providers.
- Perform regular service quality checks on incident tickets and requests by the outsourcer of application and discuss service issues and improvement plans.
- Participate in management meetings, project meetings, and focus group meetings to provide feedback, ideas and increase level of engagement.
- When required, facilitate and guide outsourcer testing activities such as unit testing, regression testing and user acceptance.
- Engage with the business and functions stakeholders to identify and understand needs.
- Conduct meetings and prepare presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Identify needs, perform requirements analysis and impact assessment, and document the requirements. Support the organization on prioritization of requirements.
- Deliver functional design documentation using the appropriate format and approach or review the functional design delivered by third parties when needed.
- Define user acceptance test approach and oversee the user acceptance test execution.
- Support deployment/rollout plans.
