The role

At Solarig, we have been driving the global energy transition for over 20 years through the development of essential infrastructure and the construction, operation, and financial structuring of large-scale renewable projects. We manage assets across multiple geographies and have a broad portfolio under development. Our commitment to innovation and sustainability leads us to promote decarbonization wherever we operate, integrating renewable energy solutions, green gases, and new technologies.

As part of this purpose, Biorig, our division specialized in biomethane production, was born to provide innovative solutions in the field of renewable gases and CO₂ capture, driving international biomethane and green gas projects. At Biorig, we design 100% sustainable plants—without water consumption or emissions—fully integrated and respectful of the rural environment, thus reinforcing Solarig's mission to accelerate a cleaner and more efficient energy model on a global scale.

🚀 We want to continue growing, and to do so, we are looking for talent with vision, commitment, and the desire to make a mark. We are looking for a Project Engineer within our engineering team, in the EPC business line.

What you'll do

Among the duties you will carry out with us, the following stand out:

  • Coordinate the technical development of EPC projects for biomethane plants, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, deadline, quality, safety, and cost requirements.

  • Participate in the development and review of process engineering, including mass and energy balances, process diagrams, design criteria, and the definition of main equipment.

  • Coordinate the basic and detailed engineering of the various disciplines, ensuring the correct technical integration of the different plant packages and systems.

  • Manage procurement processes for equipment and services, including technical specifications, bid evaluation, technical validation of supplies, and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Supervise project development during the engineering, manufacturing, and construction phases, providing technical support and resolving incidents and interfaces between disciplines.

  • Participate in the definition and verification of plant performance, including biomethane production, gas quality, energy efficiency, and compliance with grid injection requirements.

  • Coordinate and provide support for the FAT, commissioning, startup, performance testing, and project closure phases, acting as the technical interlocutor with clients, suppliers, and external organizations.
