The role
- Native level, TEFL qualified English teacher required from September for small academy in Cartagena, Murcia.
How you'll work
- Timetable: 12 hours Mon-Thu, afternoons only, with an additional 3 hours for preparation,
Conditions
- Teaching groups of mainly young learners from Monday to Thursday 16:00-19:00.
- Maximum group size of 12
- Large bank of materials ready to use
- The possibility of additional hours in mornings or on Fridays can be discussed.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Experience in teaching Young Learners essential. Experience in preparing Cambridge examinations particularly YL, PET and FCE preferred.
Education & certifications
- Candidates must have Native English level or C2 equivalent
- TEFL qualification (e.g. Trinity CerTESOL)
- EU national or resident in Spain with relevant work permit
- At least 2 years experience teaching groups of young learners
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience of Cambridge exam preparation
Pay & benefits
What you'll get
The monthly salary is €840. All teachers are given a 'fijo discontinuo' contract which ends at the end of June with the option to continue the following September.
2 weeks holiday at Christmas plus a week at Easter.
