Social Educator for a youth service in La Garrotxa

Role duties

• Participation in the planning of the service's educational project.

• Promote conditions that ensure the reception of the child/adolescent in an environment of affection, understanding, and emotional and material security.

• Inform the child and adolescent about how the center operates and about their rights and duties.

• Meet the basic needs of the child/adolescent (education, food, emotional, hygiene, health, psychological, etc.) and pay special attention to those neglected in situations of lack of protection.

• Inform management of any significant circumstance that calls for better intervention, ensuring good information management, and improving the organization and management of the center.

• Ensure good educational practice through continuous evaluation of the educational process.

• Set the educational approach and the goals to work on with the child/adolescent.

• Adopt the center's educational approach and participate in the development, implementation, and review of: the center's educational project, the internal rules and regulations, the program, the annual report, and other documents.

What do you need?

• Completed degree in Social Education.

• Must have a driver's license and own vehicle to get to the service.

• Proactivity, communication skills, and teamwork skills.

• Experience in caring for migrant youth is valued.

• Holding a disability certificate of 33% or more will be valued.

What do we offer?

• Permanent position.

• Working hours: 38 hours per week.

• Schedule: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. + Two Tuesday nights per month from 10 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

• Salary: €26,527.81 gross per year + night shift and weekend bonus.

• Start date: 09/05/2026.

Funcions del rol

• Participació en la programació del projecte educatiu del servei.

• Afavorir les condicions que garanteixin l'acollida de l'infant/ adolescent en un ambient d'afecte, comprensió i seguretat emocional i material.

• Informar a l'infant i l'adolescent del funcionament del centre i dels drets i deures.

• Cobrir les necessitats bàsiques de l'infant/ adolescent (educació, d'alimentació, afectives, d'higiene, de salut, psicològiques ...) i atendre especialment les desateses en la seva desprotecció.

• Informar a la direcció de qualsevol circumstància significativa que impliqui una millor intervenció, aconseguir una bona gestió de la informació, la millora de l'organització i de la gestió del centre.

• Garantir la bona pràctica educativa mitjançant l'avaluació continuada del procés educatiu.

• Marcar la línia educativa i els objectius a treballar amb l’infant/adolescent.

• Assumir la línia educativa del centre i participar en l'elaboració, la implementació i la revisió de: el projecte educatiu del centre, el reglament de règim intern, la programació, la memòria i altres documents.

Què necessites?

• Grau en Educació Social finalitzat.

• Disposar de carnet de conduir i vehicle propi per arribar al servei.

• Proactivitat, habilitats comunicatives i de treball en equip.

• Valorable experiència en atenció a joves migrats.

• Es valorarà estar en possessió del certificat de discapacitat igual o superior al 33%.

• Vacant amb continuïtat.

• Jornada: 38h/setmanals.

• Horari: Dissabtes, diumenges i festius de 10h a 22h +Dos dimarts nits mensuals de 22h a 8.30h.

• Salari: 26.527,81€ b/a + plus nocturnitat i caps de setmana.
