Cloud Engineer

In this role, you'll engage in Infrastructure as Code, automation, and application hosting using Kubernetes.Your main responsibility will be to manage, improve and operate our shared application hosting platform for various types of applications in the Azure cloud.

A significant part of your role involves further engineering of the platform, but also ensuring the stability and operability of the platform.This includes automating operational processes as much as possible.You will also participate in an on-call rotation, to handle high-priority incidents.

We're looking for a passionate and engaged cloud engineer to join this amazing team. You will be a problem-solver, eager to tackle challenging technical problems.

To be successful in the role, you need to have these technical skills and knowledge:

• Proficient in managing and operating Kubernetes in a public cloud.
• In depth hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP, ideally Azure.
• Programming experience, ideally Golang.
• Strong with Infrastructure as Code tools and concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Experience in cloud network infrastructure and security concepts.

We're looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in at least two of these three areas: Azure, Kubernetes or Go. You don't need to be an expert in all three, but you should be keen to learn and develop your skills in the third.

For Spain the base salary range for this position is between EUR 42,000 and EUR 70,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
