What we're looking for

Required knowledge

Hands-on experience in at least one of the two main providers

Cloud: AWS EC2 S3 VPC IAM RDS ELB / ALB Route 53 CloudWatch Lambda AWS Organizations Azure Virtual Machines Storage Accounts Virtual Networks Entra ID / Azure AD Azure Monitor Azure SQL Load Balancer / Application Gateway Azure Functions Azure Resource Manager Azure Policy Knowledge of all services is not necessary, but a solid foundation in Cloud infrastructure and networking is required.

Infrastructure as Code and automation: Experience with Terraform.

Git knowledge. Experience with CI/CD tools.

Automation through Bash, PowerShell and/or Python.

Ansible knowledge will be valued.

Solid networking fundamentals:

TCP/IP DNS Routing VPN Firewalls Load Balancers

Security knowledge in Cloud environments.

Experience working with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

Experience in incident and change management.

Ability to perform Cloud infrastructure troubleshooting.

Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow is desirable.

Valued knowledge: Experience in both AWS and Azure.

Experience in multicloud environments. Ad vanced Terraform.

Terragrunt. Kubernetes and Docker.

Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar tools. Ansible.

Experience in the design and operation of Landing Zones. AWS Organizations / Control Tower. Azure Management Groups / Azure Policy. Knowledge of FinOps and Cloud cost optimization. Cloud Security. Experience in migrations to AWS/Azure.

Knowledge of high availability and Disaster Recovery architectures. AWS and/or Azure certifications.

The role

At Logicalis Spain, we are looking to recruit Cloud Engineer professionals to join our Cloud Managed Services team.

What you'll do

Operation and administration of AWS and/or Azure infrastructures.

Resolution of incidents and requests in Cloud environments.

Execution of changes and maintenance activities on production environments.

Analysis and resolution of infrastructure, connectivity, performance, and availability problems.

Administration and configuration of Cloud services.

Automation of operational tasks and recurring processes.

Development and maintenance of infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Participation in Cloud evolution, migration, and transformation projects.

Application of best practices for security, availability, resilience, and cost optimization.

Monitoring and analysis of logs, metrics, and events of the managed environments.

Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and procedures.

Collaboration with Cloud Architecture on the evolution of solutions.

Collaboration with DevOps, Security, Systems, and Networking teams.

Participation in the continuous improvement of managed services.

What requirements are we looking for?

We are looking for profiles with experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, with a solid technical foundation and an orientation towards automation and continuous improvement.

The selected person will participate in the management of production environments, incident resolution, execution of changes, automation of tasks, and the evolution of Cloud platforms, working in collaboration with Architecture, DevOps, Security, and other technical teams.

We will especially value those professionals who, in addition to having solid experience in one of the main Cloud providers, have knowledge or experience in the other, as well as an interest in developing a professional career in multicloud environments.
