Knowledge Graph / Semantic Data Engineer

• Experience: 2-4 years

• English: Good oral and written level

• Practical experience with at least one platform:

  • Neo4j

  • Amazon Neptune

  • Azure Cosmos DB

  • Or similar technologies.

• Cypher

• SPARQL

• Gremlin

Mastery of all technologies is not necessary, but practical experience in some of them is required.

• Knowledge of:

  • RDF

  • RDFS

  • OWL

  • SHACL, at least at a basic/intermediate level.

• Ability to read, understand, and develop ontological definitions.

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.

• Data modeling.

• Data integration and processing.

• Cloud Storage.

• Operational experience with at least one of these environments:

  • AWS

  • Microsoft Azure

Experience with AWS S3 or Azure ADLS will be valued.

We are looking for a junior-mid profile, with 2-4 years of experience, oriented towards technical execution and with a real interest in specializing in Knowledge Graphs, ontologies, and Semantic Data.

We are not necessarily looking for an expert in all technologies, but rather a person with a solid foundation in Data Engineering, practical exposure to graphs or semantics, and the ability to learn autonomously.

• Interest in evolving towards Senior Data Architect / Semantic Architect positions.

• Knowledge of GenAI / LLM and understanding of how Knowledge Graphs can be used in RAG and semantic search architectures.

• Experience with Data Governance, Data Catalog, or Metadata Management platforms.

• Certifications or specific training in Neo4j or cloud technologies.

• Experience in sectors with complex domain models such as banking/finance, energy, healthcare, or retail.

• Experience with Stardog.

At Tecdata Engineering, we are looking to hire a Knowledge Graph / Semantic Data Engineer to participate in consulting projects and the implementation of graphs, ontologies, and semantics solutions in enterprise environments.

The selected person will join delivery teams, working under the supervision of a Senior Data Architect, with the possibility of evolving into positions of greater responsibility in data and knowledge architecture.

• Design, implement, and deliver solutions based on Knowledge Graphs, ontologies, and semantic technologies.
