Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience with Teradata Database / Teradata Vantage.
Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures, BTEQ, Views, and Macros.
Mass loading and extraction tools: TPT, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and FastExport.
Development, maintenance, and evolution of ETL/ELT processes.
Data modeling, source integration, and Data Warehouse architectures.
Performance optimization: EXPLAIN analysis, statistics, indexes, partitioning, and skew detection.
Knowledge of MPP architecture and workload management.
Shell Scripting in Linux/Unix environments.
Experience in batch processes, monitoring, log analysis, and resolution of production incidents.
Ability to meet service level agreements (SLA).

Nice to have

Knowledge of Basque.
Experience in large corporate environments and high-volume data platforms.

The role

We are looking for a Teradata Specialist to participate in the development, maintenance, and optimization of data processes in enterprise environments, working with large volumes of information and Data Warehouse architectures.

The selected person will contribute to the evolution of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and the performance improvement of Teradata platforms.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain data processes on Teradata.
Optimize SQL queries and ETL/ELT processes.
Analyze and resolve incidents in production environments.
Plan, monitor, and execute batch processes.
Improve the performance and efficiency of data loads.
Ensure the stability of processes and compliance with SLAs.
