Experience

  • Experience in configuring and commissioning the different areas of a production and/or transmission environment in Broadcast settings, such as:
    • TV studios (virtual or otherwise) and production control rooms.
    • Non-linear production environments, digital newsrooms, non-linear editing suites, audio post-production systems, with special value placed on having implemented digital production systems such as AVID, DALET, HIVE, STRATUS.
    • Video servers, storage systems, and continuity automation.
    • Transmission systems via fiber optics and point-to-point radio links.

Technical Knowledge

  • Proficiency in collaborative software tools, and common office tools such as Office, Teams, and the internet.
  • Knowledge of networks, operating systems, and IT systems in general, as well as software for virtualized environments, such as VMware, Hyper-V, among others.
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems, Windows and Linux at an administration level, and of the client/server application environment TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, FTP, SNMP, DHCP, TELNET, SSH, NTP.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual equipment: production, acquisition (Cameras), storage, content management (MAM), archiving, graphics, continuity, automation, transmission, links, lighting, sound, etc.
