Event host/hostess - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

From Temporing we are looking for an event host/hostess for an important sales promotion company with a workplace in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.

• Attending and welcoming attendees and clients; access control and escorting to assigned areas.

• Setting up and preparing spaces according to the organizer's instructions (placing tableware, basic decoration and signage).

• Restocking consumables and monitoring inventory during the event.

• Providing attentive service and resolving minor issues during the event.

• Removing and performing basic cleaning at the end of the service; returning materials to the warehouse.

• Complying with food safety and hygiene regulations and using PPE correctly when required.

• Contracts through a temporary employment agency with the possibility of continuity and moving to the permanent staff based on performance and availability.

• Immediate start.

• Schedule: afternoon/night.

• Dynamic and collaborative working environment.

• Previous experience in event floor service (catering, weddings, conferences, etc.).

• Carrying out live demonstrations, offering free samples and explaining the features and benefits of the product to consumers.

• Availability to work variable hours: weekends, nights and holidays.

• Answering questions, persuading customers to make a purchase and improving the end customer experience.

• Valuable: training in customer service.

• Essential: residence in southern Gran Canaria or own vehicle for travel to different venues.

• Proactive attitude and teamwork.

Desde Temporing seleccionamos un/a azafato/a de eventos para importante empresa dedicada al impulso de ventas con centro de trabajo en Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.

• Atención y bienvenida a asistentes y clientes; control de acceso y acompañamiento a zonas asignadas.

• Montaje y preparación de espacios según instrucciones del organizador (colocación de menaje, decoración básica y señalética).

• Reposición de consumibles y control del stock durante el evento.

• Atención cercana y resolución de incidencias menores durante el desarrollo del evento.

• Retirada y limpieza básica al finalizar el servicio; devolución del material al almacén.

• Cumplimiento de normas de seguridad e higiene alimentaria y uso correcto de EPI cuando proceda.

• Contratos a través de ETT con posibilidad de continuidad y paso a plantilla según desempeño y disponibilidad.

• Incorporación inmediata.

• Horario: Tarde/noche.

• Ambiente de trabajo dinámico y colaborativo.

• Experiencia previa en servicio de sala en eventos (catering, bodas, congresos, etc.).

• Realizar demostraciones en vivo, ofrecer muestras gratuitas y explicar las características y beneficios del producto a los consumidores.

• Disponibilidad para trabajar en horarios variables: fines de semana, noches y festivos.

• Responder dudas, persuadir sobre la compra y mejorar la experiencia del cliente final.

• Valorable: formación en atención al cliente.

• Imprescindible residencia en Gran Canaria sur o vehículo propio para desplazamientos a distintos recintos.

• Actitud proactiva y trabajo en equipo .
