Boilermaking Manager

We are looking for a Boilermaking Manager to join the Boilermaking department. Your main mission will be to assemble shell rings and flanges and carry out the layout of sections on time and correctly to complete the assigned fabrication section.

You will work under the direct supervision of the Team Leader and the Shift Supervisor, taking responsibility for the entire production process, quality self-inspection, data recording, and basic maintenance of your tools.

Main duties:

1. Assembly and Fitting Operations (Flanges, Shell Rings, and Lines)

• Assembly of shell rings in pairs.
• Assembly of shell rings in lines.
• Assembly of shell rings in lines.

2. Technical Layout and Internal Components

• Advanced interpretation of drawings to lay out internal components on the sections (pins, lugs, frames, and door frames for later opening).
• Layout of axes to determine the corresponding heights, sections, and arcs.
• Physical marking on the section indicating the type of component and the type of weld required for its assembly; tack welding of components when applicable.

3. Quality Control and Finishing

• Oxy-fuel cutting operations (torch cutting) and flange straightening using heat with a torch lance

4. Digital Management, Logistics, and Maintenance

• SAP notification: Digitally record the start and end of processes, traceability, and notification of operations
• Safely operate overhead crane, forklift, and aerial work platforms for auxiliary material handling.

• Professional Certificate in Welding and Boilermaking (If not available: minimum 3 months of experience using an angle grinder/radial grinder corresponding to the practical training of said certificate).
• Valid certifications/licenses in:
• Overhead crane.
• Aerial work platform (MEWP).
• Forklift.
• Work at height.
• Safety training for welding and oxy-fuel cutting work.

Buscamos un/a Gestor/a de Calderería para incorporarse al departamento de Calderería. Tu misión principal será armar virolas, bridas y realizar el trazado de secciones en tiempo y forma para completar el tramo de fabricación asignado.

Trabajarás bajo la dependencia directa del Jefe de Equipo y el Encargado de Turno, responsabilizándote de todo el proceso productivo, el autocontrol de calidad, el registro de datos y el mantenimiento básico de tus herramientas.

Funciones principales:

1. Operaciones de Montaje y Armado (Bridas, Virolas y Líneas)

• Montaje de virolas en parejas.
• Montaje de virolas en líneas.
• Montaje de virolas en líneas.

2. Trazado Técnico y Elementos Internos

• Interpretación avanzada de planos para trazar elementos internos en los tramos (pines, orejetas, marcos y marcos de puerta para posterior apertura).
• Trazado de ejes para determinar alturas, secciones y arcos correspondientes.
• Marcado físico en el tramo indicando el tipo de elemento y el tipo de soldadura requerido para su montaje; punteado de elementos cuando aplique.

3. Control de Calidad y Acabados

• Operaciones de oxicorte (corte con soplete) y enderezado de bridas mediante calor con lanza de soplete

4. Gestión Digital, Logística y Mantenimiento

• Notificación en SAP: Registrar digitalmente el inicio, final de los procesos, trazabilidad y notificación de operaciones
• Operar de forma segura grúa puente, carretilla elevadora y plataformas elevadoras para movimientos auxiliares de material.
