About the role

We are currently looking for 3 operators for an optical laboratory for a leading company in lens manufacturing.

The available positions are:

  • 1 operator Surface (lens edging)
  • 2 operators Hard (coatings and treatments)

If you have experience in an industrial environment and are interested in the optical sector, we want to meet you!

Nice to have

-Experience in lens tinting and inspection  

-Experience in the lens edging process  

-Experience in lens cleaning, resin coating application, and machinery handling  

-Experience with high-vacuum machines 

What you'll get

- Annual gross salary: €17,598.35 + applicable night shift premiums for the afternoon shift. 

How you'll work

-A safe and pleasant working environment.  

-Initial contract from 22/06 to 21/09 with possibility of extension

-Start date: 22/06

-Schedule from Monday to Friday, rotating shifts: morning (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Contact Center

Surface Operator

  • Edging, generating, and polishing lenses according to optical prescription.
  • Operation of surfacing machinery (generator, blocker, polisher).
  • Control of technical lens parameters (curvatures, prescription, axis, etc.).
  • Quality verification during the production process.
  • Cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.

Hard Operator

  • Application of hard coating treatments on lenses.
  • Prior lens preparation (cleaning and conditioning).
  • Operation of coating equipment and curing ovens.
  • Quality control of the finish (defects, resistance, uniformity).
  • Recording and tracking of production orders.

Requirements

Previous experience in an optical laboratory or similar industrial environment.

Experience in:

  • Edging (Surface)
  • Treatments or coatings (Hard)

-Ability to work as part of a team and follow precise instructions.  

-Ability to read and understand optical product blueprints.  

-Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
