Industrial Lathe Operator

• Demonstrable previous experience performing similar functions in machining environments.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting tolerances.
• Availability to work on a 3-shift basis.
• Living in the area or having your own vehicle to get to the workplace.

An important company in the industrial sector located in Abanto y Ciérvana (Bizkaia) is looking to hire an experienced Lathe Operator to join its production team.

Main duties:

• Complete preparation and setup of the lathe.
• Interpretation of technical drawings and manufacturing of parts under specifications.
• Machining of shafts, bushings, rollers, flanges, nuts, and various mechanical components.
• Selection, adjustment, and change of the appropriate cutting tools.
• Measurement control, tolerances, and final verification of manufactured parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Process optimization: Correction of machine parameters during machining if necessary.
• Basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of the workstation.
