Requirements

What we're looking for

Training in Mechanical Manufacturing, Machining, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable experience as a First-class CNC Turner.
Solid knowledge of programming and handling CNC controls (FANUC, Siemens, Heidenhain, or similar).
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Regular use of measuring and verification instruments (caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, among others).
Overhead crane license and experience in its operation.
Ability to work autonomously from the interpretation of the drawing to obtaining the finished part.

Nice to have

Experience with programming at the machine (ISO, FANUC, etc.).
Knowledge in precision machining or short series.
Experience with other types of machinery (milling machine, machining center, grinder…).
Knowledge of basic maintenance of CNC machinery.

The role

We are looking for a First-class CNC Programmer Turner with solid experience in precision machining for an important international leading company in the distribution of hydraulic and pneumatic components and connectors, with more than 40 years of experience, located in Zaragoza, capable of autonomously assuming the preparation, programming, setup, and manufacturing of parts on CNC lathes, guaranteeing the established quality, productivity, and safety standards.

What you'll do

Program, modify, and optimize CNC programs on the machine according to manufacturing requirements.
Prepare, set up, and operate CNC lathes, performing the complete setup for the manufacturing of new references.
Interpret technical drawings, dimensional tolerances, and machining specifications to ensure the correct execution of parts.
Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and fixtures for each process.
Perform machining operations on single parts, short series, and precision work.
Carry out dimensional and visual self-control of parts using measuring instruments.
Detect and resolve technical incidents during the production process, proposing improvements when necessary.
Guarantee compliance with the established quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Operate overhead cranes for the handling and movement of materials and large-sized parts.
Collaborate with the rest of the technical team in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
