Requirements

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience working with SAS technologies.
Experience with SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Viya.
Solid SAS programming knowledge: DATA Step, PROC SQL, and Macros.
Experience in the development, maintenance, and optimization of data processing and transformation processes.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, integration of information sources, and data modeling.
Experience in process automation, code debugging, and performance analysis.
Knowledge of library and dataset management, as well as batch load execution in Linux/Unix environments.
Experience in incident resolution and maintenance of production processes.
Knowledge of SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS Management Console.

Nice to have

Experience with SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Data Quality, and SAS 9.4.
Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Git.

The role

At THEWHITEAM Consulting, we are looking for a SAS Developer with at least 4 years of experience to join a project focused on the development, maintenance, and optimization of data processing and transformation processes.

The selected person will participate in the development of SAS solutions, the integration of information sources, and the implementation of ETL/ELT processes, working with large volumes of data and contributing to the improvement of the performance and efficiency of production processes.

What you'll do

Develop, maintain, and optimize data processing and transformation processes using SAS.
Program solutions using SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Viya.
Develop and maintain SAS code using DATA Step, PROC SQL, and Macros.
Design and implement data integration processes and ETL/ELT loads.
Optimize SAS processes through code debugging and performance analysis.
Manage libraries, datasets, and batch executions in Linux/Unix environments.
Resolve incidents and perform process maintenance in production environments.
Participate in data modeling tasks and the exploitation of large volumes of information.
Collaborate on initiatives for the modernization and migration of SAS platforms to Cloud environments.
