What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
Education
- Degree in Computer Engineering (or similar).
Demonstrable experience in
- Administration of SAP systems (Basis)
- Linux operating systems
- SAP HANA and Oracle databases
- SAP installation, configuration, and maintenance
Knowledge of
- SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
Experience in
- Advanced technical support (L2/L3)
- Management of incidents, changes, and requests
Analytical skills, autonomy, and a focus on continuous improvement.
High level of English (international environment, technical documentation).

The role

At The Whiteam Consulting we are looking for an SAP Basis Systems Technician with experience in SAP systems administration, to join a stable project in a hybrid environment in Bizkaia (Bilbao).

The selected candidate will participate in the management, maintenance, and evolution of SAP environments, both on-premise and cloud, helping to ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical systems.

This is a position with technical responsibility, advanced support, and involvement in evolution projects, in an international environment where a high level of English will be required.

What you'll do

Administration and maintenance of SAP Basis systems:
- Installation
- Configuration
- Monitoring
Management of upgrades and patch application.
Administration of environments:
- SAP HANA
- Oracle databases
Systems management in environments:
- On-premise
- Cloud
Administration of Linux operating systems.
Second and third level technical support.
Resolution of critical incidents and problem management.
Implementation of changes in production and non-production environments.
Proposal of improvements to the SAP infrastructure.
Management of:
- Configuration
- Availability
- Capacity
- Continuity
- Security
Participation in evolution projects.
Technical coordination with teams and stakeholders.

Location: Bizkaia (Bilbao).
Salary: 30,000€ SBA.
