Team Lead Basis, Operations & Landscape

As Team Lead Basis, Operations & Landscape, you will ensure system availability, performance, security, and scalability while leading technical operations across the SAP ecosystem.

• Lead SAP platform operations in a global environment.

• Ensure availability, stability, and performance of the SAP landscape and underlying infrastructure.
• Manage SAP systems administration, including start/stop procedures, kernel maintenance, SAP Notes, Support Packages, and technical upgrades.
• Administer SAP HANA databases, including performance management, backup/recovery, replication, and tuning.
• Oversee DEV, QA, PRE, and PROD environments, system refreshes, client copies, and project sandboxes.
• Manage Transport Management System (TMS) configuration and transport routes.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, including CPU, memory, storage, and IOPS.
• Maintain high availability and disaster recovery capabilities, including recovery testing and RTO/RPO compliance.
• Coordinate operating system and database patching activities.
• Act as the technical liaison with hosting providers and hyperscalers for infrastructure-related services.
• Provision new systems and environments for implementation and rollout projects.
• Resolve cross-functional low to medium-complexity incidents involving configuration, master data, authorizations, and known system issues.
• Perform first-level incident triage, determining the appropriate resolution path or escalation.
• Lead the initial diagnosis of major incidents, identifying technical or functional root causes and coordinating the correct specialists.

• Proven experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP landscape management.
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA database administration.
• Experience managing enterprise SAP environments across multiple system landscapes.
• Solid understanding of transport management, system copies, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience working with hosting providers and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders across technical and functional teams.
• Leadership experience in SAP operations or infrastructure teams is highly valued.
• Fluent English communication skills.
