About the role

At The Whiteam Consulting we are looking for a Senior Systems Technician specialized in Databases (DBA) with strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, to join a strategic project in 100% remote mode from Spain.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration, evolution, and governance of database platforms in both On-Premise and Cloud (Microsoft Azure) environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security in critical systems.

Additionally, they will act as a technical reference, participating in modernization projects, cloud migration, and digital transformation.

What you'll do

  • Database administration and maintenance:

    • Microsoft SQL Server

    • PostgreSQL

  • Full database lifecycle management:

    • Installation

    • Configuration

    • Operation

    • Maintenance

    • Upgrade

  • Design and oversight of architectures:

    • Hybrid (On-Premise + Cloud)

    • Cloud on Microsoft Azure

  • Lead and coordinate database migrations to Azure.
