Postdoctoral Researcher R2 - Neurology

• PhD in Medicine, Biomedicine, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related areas to Health Sciences.
• Up to 5 years of postdoctoral experience.
• Minimum H-index of 6.
• Demonstrable experience in participation in funded research projects as a member of the research team.
• A track record of scientific publications in indexed and high-impact journals.
• Experience in the supervision or tutoring of undergraduate, master's students, or researchers in training.
• Solid knowledge in Neurology and pathophysiology of the nervous system

At Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, we are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our project in the area of Neurology within the Faculty of Biomedical and Health Sciences. We are looking for professionals with a research background and a vocation for excellence in research and the generation of high-impact scientific knowledge.

Security Guard Girona Costa + €2,150 net

The mission of a junior postdoctoral researcher (R2) is to consolidate their scientific independence, deepening their own line of research within a UAX research group. Their work involves coordinating activities within the group's projects, generating and publishing high-impact results, mentoring predoctoral researchers, Master's theses (TFM), and/or Bachelor's theses (TFG), generating collaborations, and strengthening their profile for a stable research career with greater responsibility.

• Participate in the design, execution, and monitoring of research projects in the area of Neurology, contributing to the achievement of the group's scientific objectives.
• Develop a research line of their own, aligned with the strategic areas of Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio and the host research group.
• Contribute to the preparation and presentation of research proposals in competitive national and international calls.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate students, TFG, TFM, and researchers in training, fostering their academic and scientific development.
• Collaborate in the technical and scientific management of projects, ensuring the fulfillment of milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Contribute to the transfer, scientific dissemination, and innovation activities derived from research activity.
• Deliver 90 annual teaching hours within their area of specialization.
