What we're looking for

- Graduate or Licentiate in Medicine. Degree homologation for foreign personnel.

- Must be registered with the Medical College.

- Availability from Monday to Friday.

- Residence in the locality of the vacancy or surrounding areas. Willing to relocate if not residing in the locality of the vacant position.

Umivale Activa, a Social Security collaborating mutual insurance company that guarantees advisory services to companies and assistance in the protection of workers, requires a Graduate or Licentiate in Medicine.

Among others, and reporting directly to the area manager, they will be responsible for the following functions:

What you'll do

- Collaborate in judicial proceedings/prepare reports for trials.

- Attend to patients in consultation for occupational disease/work accident/emergency.

- Perform the prescription of HAD.

- Complete ATRIUM to inform the INSS in 12-month sick leave processes if they have not resulted in discharge or permanent disability.

- Manage non-appearances for CC/CP.

- Provide telephone assistance/and perform telephone follow-up of patients or SME or public bodies.

- Schedule routine work in the agenda, NEOS, plan next appointment, etc.

- Apply criteria for occupational diseases or work-relatedness being fair.

- Assess and examine the patient in consultation (anamnesis, evolution and follow-up) and request complementary tests.

- Manage allegations to DECO and disagreement with the discharge issued by the mutual insurance company.

- Perform diagnosis, application and follow-up of treatment.

- Assess functional capacity to determine medical discharge.

- Prepare clinical-labor report reflecting the functional limitations of a patient for their assessment by the INSS.

- Validation of all medical reports issued by external centers (sick leave, discharges and no sick leave).

- Control the processes of contracted centers.

- Maintain sanitary materials and equipment.

- Preparation of discharge and disability proposals, accumulation of processes.

- Collect the consent and authorization of the patient for the Health Services Inspection.

- Manage medical conformities.

- Update the diagnosis coming from the SPS.
