  • Previous experience as a team supervisor or coordinator.
  • Capable of working in a team and working under pressure.

The role

🚆 At Vectalia, we are looking to hire a train cleaning coordinator to lead the operational management of our cleaning services.

The profile must be able to balance office administrative work and production recording with a regular presence in stations and workshops, to supervise the quality of train cleaning, visit work centers, and detect and correct deficiencies, coordinating with shift supervisors and the clients' workshop management.

If you are looking for a new professional challenge leading operations and teams in a dynamic environment with great projection, we want to meet you!

What you'll do

Job duties

  • Supervise the quality of train cleaning in stations and workshops.
  • Control shifts, vacations, and service coverage.
  • Lead, supervise, coordinate, and monitor the daily management and evolution of the personnel in charge.
  • Train, motivate, and support the team to guarantee production.
  • Maintain communication and contact with clients to resolve service incidents.
  • Propose solutions and improvements.
  • Visit work centers and perform quality controls.

How you'll work

  • Occasional train travel for service reviews at peripheral centers, with the possibility of overnight hotel stays for night shift reviews.

Working conditions

  • Permanent contract.
  • Full-time employment according to the CC of Contratas Ferroviarias.
  • The morning shift schedule is from 08:00h to 17:00h. The end time of the workday is 17:00, provided that the rosters have been covered. Regardless of the fact that the schedule is primarily in the morning, since our train cleaning services have morning, afternoon, and night teams, visits to cleaning during afternoon or night shifts must also be conducted when necessary.

Every three weeks, a telephone on-call duty is performed on the weekend during the morning schedule, which is paid, and for which a compensatory day off is generated.
