About the role

We are looking for a Hydraulic Projects Manager with experience in the sector, who brings a solid track record in the comprehensive development of hydraulic infrastructure projects (networks, pipelines and treatment plants).

In this strategic position, you will take responsibility for the full cycle of simultaneous projects, acting as key support for the regional delegation

  • End-to-end project management: Lead and coordinate projects from the initial detection of the opportunity to the final closing of the project with the client.
  • Technical drafting and production: Actively participate in the drafting, design and calculation of the assigned hydraulic projects.
  • Project and cost control: Take responsibility for milestone scheduling, budget monitoring, cost control and management of deviations.
  • Coordination and team leadership: Direct the office and field work of multidisciplinary teams (1 to 8 people), coordinating tasks and promoting their development.
  • Subcontracting management: Select, hire and supervise subcontractor companies for field work.
  • Liaison and monitoring: Maintain direct follow-up with the client and make occasional field visits, to town councils or public bodies.

  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports), Industrial Engineering or Civil Engineering (pre-Bologna higher qualification or Bachelor's degree + qualifying Master's degree / MECES level 3).
  • Experience: Between 10 and 15 years of experience in project development and drafting, and between 3 and 4 years leading teams and managing costs/subcontractors.
  • Technical knowledge: Specialist in hydraulic works (connections, pipelines, conveyance, supply networks, sanitation, pressure and gravity pipes) or extensive knowledge of water treatment plants (drinking water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants).
