Machine Operator

FUNCTIONS:

- Operate and handle machinery safely and efficiently.
- Carry out tasks according to work plans, meeting deadlines and production targets.
- Ensure the correct use and care of machinery, detecting faults or wear and reporting them promptly.
- Perform basic maintenance and daily machine checks (fluid levels, greasing, cleaning, simple adjustments).
- Comply with current occupational safety, environmental, and forestry regulations.
- Coordinate with the platform supervisor and the rest of the team to optimize work.
- Maintain basic records of working hours, performance, and fuel consumption, when applicable.

Minimum requirements:

• Experience operating a front-end loader and forklifts
• Experience in gravel quarries and concrete plants will be valued

- Ejecutar las tareas conforme a los planes de trabajo, respetando los plazos y objetivos productivos.
- Velar por el correcto uso y cuidado de la maquinaria, detectando fallas o desgastes y reportándolos oportunamente.
- Realizar mantenimiento básico y revisiones diarias de la máquina (niveles, engrase, limpieza, ajustes simples).
- Cumplir con las normativas de seguridad laboral, medioambientales y forestales vigentes.
- Coordinarse con el responsable de plataforma y el resto del equipo para optimizar el trabajo.
- Mantener registros básicos de horas de trabajo, rendimiento y consumo de combustible, cuando corresponda.

Requisitos mínimos:

• Experiencia en el manejo de pala cargadora frontal y carretillas elevadoras
• Se valorará experiencia en canteras de grava y plantas de hormigón
