What you'll do

  • Carrying out major and minor overhauls on high-criticality equipment (transformers, alternators, medium and high voltage switchgear).

  • Working on circuit breakers, disconnectors, excitation systems, and protection systems of generation plants.

  • Performing tests and diagnostics on critical electrical equipment.

  • Taking dielectric oil samples and performing winding megger tests.

  • Checking temperature and vibration control loops in generation systems.

  • Reconditioning or replacing damaged components in alternators and transformers.

Requirements

  • Intermediate vocational training in Electricity and Electronics or Industrial Instrumentation is valued, with experience in generation plants.

  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.

  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations (RBT, NTP), ability to work in a team, and availability to travel between the four work sites.
