Job description

We are currently strengthening our Technical Office and Works team in the Valencian Community.

We are looking to bring on board a Building Engineer - Technical Architect to lead the construction side of our projects under execution.

This is not a role limited to auxiliary or support works: we are looking for a profile capable of managing real building works, including new builds, fit-outs and renovations, with a complete technical, economic and execution approach.

What will your mission be?

You will be responsible for leading the building discipline on the works assigned to you, taking part from the tender phase through to execution, with a direct impact on the quality, feasibility and profitability of the projects.

You will work in coordination with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, etc.), integrating construction within broader technical solutions.

Main duties:

  • Technical and economic analysis of projects at tender stage:
  • Definition of construction solutions
  • Measurements and budgets
  • Cost study and planning
  • Planning, organisation and supervision of building works:
  • New builds
  • Renovations and fit-outs
  • Coordination of subcontractors and site teams.
  • Cost control, certifications, and economic monitoring.
  • Management of deadlines and scheduling.
  • Resolution of technical issues during execution.
  • Liaison with the client, the technical management team and internal teams.
  • Coordination with other disciplines for the overall integration of the project.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Technical Architecture / Building Engineering.
  • Solid experience (min. 5 years) in the execution of building works.
  • Experience in:
    • New builds and/or refurbishment
    • Management of subcontractors
    •  Economic control of works
  • Profile with autonomy, organisational and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in complex or multidisciplinary technical environments will be valued.
