The role
What you'll do
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing alterations of the resident persons.
- Design and implement individualized speech therapy intervention plans.
- Prevent, detect, and monitor dysphagia, promoting safe feeding.
- Advise and train family members and the care team on communication and swallowing guidelines.
- Prepare progress reports and participate in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
