About the role

Join WSP: high-level technical projects

At WSP, we are a global leader in engineering specialized in infrastructure, transportation, energy, environment, and building. We work on landmark projects where your technical expertise will be put to the test in demanding, high-value environments.

Due to the significant growth experienced in the Transport and Infrastructure | WSP sector, we are looking to strengthen the capabilities of our Civil Structures and Bridges | WSP team in Santander, Granada, or Madrid.

We are looking for a professional with experience in drafting reinforced concrete and steel structures, including rebar detailing, construction details, and steel connections. Participation in bridge and large-structure projects will be especially valued, as will proficiency in 3D tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper, and visualization and rendering software (e.g., Lumion and/or Lumion Landscape or similar). We want to bring on board a proactive person with an interest in taking on diverse tasks and working in coordination with the engineering team to develop high-quality graphic documentation.

What you'll do

What is the role?
Your main responsibilities will include developing graphic documentation for civil works structures through CAD drafting —plans, elevations, sections, and construction details—; preparing rebar and reinforcement drawings (details, bar bending schedules, and schedules), as well as, when applicable, documentation associated with construction or assembly phases; developing steel structure details (connections, plates, welds, and bolted joints) and coordinating deliverables with other disciplines by applying established standards and quality controls; and generating 3D models of structures and civil works elements to support coordination, design review, and project visualization.

What we're looking for

What are we looking to bring to the team?
We are looking for a professional with demonstrable experience —between 3 and 5 years— in CAD drafting of civil works structures, both reinforced concrete and steel. Experience in preparing rebar detailing drawings (details, schedules, and sections) and in preparing reinforcement documentation is essential, as is solid command of AutoCAD applied to civil works and structures, including layer management, references, and drawing standards.

Nice to have

Knowledge of 3D/BIM tools oriented toward coordination, such as Rhinoceros, Revit, Tekla Structures, or Allplan, will be especially valued. A B1 or higher level of English, enabling the reading of technical documentation and coordination on international projects, will also be considered positively.

What you'll get

  • Stable position with flexible working hours, compatible with your personal life.

  • Continuous training in cutting-edge technologies and project management.

  • Flexible compensation (health insurance, transportation, meal vouchers, childcare).

  • Professional development with international scope.

  • Access to exclusive employee discounts.
