Requirements

What we're looking for

Vocational training in Machining, Industrial Maintenance, or similar
2 to 5 years of experience in die maintenance or metal stamping
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
Knowledge of cold stamping, progressive dies and transfer
Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic presses
Handling of precision machinery (grinder, hand tools)
Familiarity with metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
High attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

The role

We are reinforcing our Tooling Maintenance team at our Ólvega location.

What you'll do

We focus on ensuring the availability and correct operation of the dies and tooling used in the stamping presses, through repair, adjustment, and preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring product quality, safety, and production continuity.

Repair of dies (cutting, deep drawing, forming, etc.)
Execution of corrective and preventive maintenance on stamping tooling
Diagnosis of mechanical and dimensional faults in dies
Adjustment, assembly, and disassembly of dies in coordination with production
Grinding, polishing and replacement of worn components (punches, dies, guides, springs)
Ensuring proper alignment, clearances, and tolerances
Participation in the continuous improvement of tooling (service life, reduction of incidents)
Recording of interventions in maintenance systems (CMMS if applicable)
