And you're probably asking: Paula, what will my day-to-day be like wearing the blue shirt? I love that you're asking me this question (I asked it myself back in the day):

• You will be responsible for the maintenance, control, continuous improvement, and management of the network of external suppliers and professionals who, in your area of operation, provide services for the Company's Miscellaneous Risks claims.
• You will negotiate with these external networks the optimal service levels and rates, up to the agreed authority levels and in accordance with the Company's Global Claims policy. You will also provide support in negotiations that exceed your level of autonomy.
• You will analyze new applications in accordance with established policies.
• You will act as a liaison between the company and external suppliers or professionals, ensure that the agreements established by the company are met, and periodically audit their service.
• You will monitor compliance with existing regulations and collaborate on their development and optimization. You will seek continuous improvement and implement best practices, reviewing and analyzing the processes and policies for managing external suppliers/professionals.
• You will be responsible, in your area of operation, for the segmentation and optimal sizing of the network of Miscellaneous Risks suppliers and professionals, and for the proper flow of volumes (work assignments) within it. With the main objective of controlling the evolution of the average cost and ensuring an optimal level of service and satisfaction for Zurich's customers.
• You will hold meetings and travel to correct incidents or problems in the network of Miscellaneous Risks suppliers and professionals in your area of operation. You will periodically carry out on-site audits.
• You will promote the use of new surveying technologies and help encourage the routing of work to partners.
• You will support and promote the fight against fraud.
• You will provide technical advice to the claims structure and the Regional Directorates as a key point of contact, ensuring compliance with claims conformity processes and good governance.
• You will maintain fluid communication with internal teams in order to obtain the necessary information to support the good performance of suppliers.
• You will keep an eye on competitor activity to ensure the company maintains a competitive advantage and will seek to manage our suppliers according to the best standards and practices in the sector.
• You will always keep your professional and technical knowledge up to date by attending training seminars, building your network, and participating in industry events.

At this point, you're probably wondering, how do I know if I'm a good fit?

Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to save the planet or meet 100% of the requirements.

• If you have a Technical Degree, preferably in Engineering or Architecture, it will be much easier for you!
• If you have proven experience in managing supplier/professional networks and in surveying Miscellaneous Risks, this is your opportunity!
• If you're good at problem-solving, adapt well to change, are a proactive person, and don't get overwhelmed by complex situations, you'll enjoy this job.
• The position is located in Bilbao; however, we need flexibility and availability to travel.

• Te encargarás del mantenimiento, control, mejora continua y gestión de la red de proveedores y profesionales externos, que en tu zona de actuación dan servicio a los siniestros de Riesgos Diversos de la Compañía.
• Negociarás con esas redes externas los niveles óptimos de servicio y las tarifas, hasta los niveles de autoridad acordados y ateniéndote a la política de Global de Siniestros de la Compañía. También prestarás apoyo en las negociaciones que superen tu límite de autonomía.
• Analizarás las nuevas candidaturas conforme a las políticas fijadas.
• Servirás de enlace entre la compañía y los proveedores o profesionales externos, garantizarás que se cumplen los acuerdos que determina la compañía y auditarás periódicamente su servicio.
• Vigilarás el correcto cumplimiento de las normativas existentes y colaborarás en su desarrollo y optimización. Buscarás la mejora continua e implementarás las mejores prácticas, revisando y analizando los procesos y las políticas de gestión de proveedores/profesionales externos.
• Serás el responsable, en tu zona de actuación, de la segmentación, dimensionamiento idóneo de la red de proveedores y profesionales de Riesgos Diversos y del correcto flujo de volúmenes (trabajos) de ésta. Con el principal objetivo de controlar la evolución del coste medio y garantizar un nivel óptimo de servicio y satisfacción a los clientes de Zurich.
• Realizarás reuniones y viajes para la corrección de incidencias o problemas en la red de proveedores y profesionales de Riesgos Diversos de tu zona de actuación. Periódicamente efectuarás auditorias in-situ.
• Potenciarás el uso de nuevas tecnologías de peritación y ayudarás a fomentar el direccionamiento a colaboradores.
• Apoyarás y fomentarás la lucha contra el fraude.
• Ofrecerás de asesoramiento técnico a la estructura de siniestros y las Direcciones Territoriales como persona de contacto clave, garantizando el respeto a los procesos de conformidad y buen gobierno de siniestros.
• Mantendrás una comunicación fluida con equipos internos con el fin de obtener la información necesaria para favorecer el buen rendimiento de los proveedores.
• Mantendrás la atención sobre la actividad de la competencia para garantizar que la compañía mantiene una ventaja competitiva y buscarás gestionar a nuestros proveedores conforme a los mejores estándares y prácticas del sector.
• Mantendrás siempre actualizados los conocimientos profesionales y técnicos asistiendo a seminarios formativos, desarrollando el networking y participando en eventos sectoriales.

No te preocupes, no te voy a pedir que salves el planeta ni que cumplas el 100% de los requisitos.

• Si cuentas con una Titulación Técnica, preferentemente en Ingeniería o Arquitectura, ¡lo tendrás mucho más fácil!
• Si tienes contrastada experiencia en gestión de redes de proveedores/profesionales y en peritación de Riesgos Diversos, ¡esta es tu oportunidad!
• Si lo tuyo es la resolución de problemas, te adaptas a los cambios, eres una persona proactiva y no te sobrepones ante situaciones complejas, disfrutarás de este trabajo.
• La ubicación de la vacante es en Bilbao, sin embargo, necesitamos flexibilidad y disponibilidad para viajar.
