We are currently seeking a Container and Microservices Technologies Administrator to join projects at scale, participating in the administration, evolution, and continuous improvement of platforms based on containers and cloud-native architectures. The role is based in Madrid under a hybrid work model, with some days worked from home and others at the office, where you will be able to create valuable synergies with the rest of your team. What you'll do

  • Administer and maintain container platforms based on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, ensuring their availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Design, create, and manage container images following corporate standards for software security and lifecycle.
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, and integrate them into DevOps processes and cloud environments.
  • Manage vulnerabilities, patching cycles, and change requests, performing technical analysis and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and optimize Kubernetes and OpenShift environments in production.
  • Define and implement procedures for updates, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure the correct implementation of microservices architectures.
  • Participate in the planning, execution, and validation of technical changes, following governance and quality procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of platforms and infrastructure.
  • Produce technical documentation and ensure compliance with operational and security standards.

What we're looking for

Essential requirements

  • Between 2 and 4 years of experience in container management and container image creation.
  • Between 2 and 4 years of experience working with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes technologies.
  • Professional experience using automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Professional experience with Terraform.
  • Professional experience in DevOps environments.
  • Professional experience working with public cloud providers.
  • Experience in vulnerability management and executing patching cycles.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Experience in the technical management of change requests.
  • Knowledge and experience in using generative artificial intelligence and AI tools applied to the job, in line with Accenture's commitment to the responsible and effective use of AI.
