Cloud & DevOps Manager

• Required Education - Technical Engineering / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.

Leading Santalucia's technological transformation in Hybrid Cloud (Public Cloud and On-Premises Infrastructures) and DevOps, aligning with existing strategic guidelines, reviewing and updating the strategy regularly, ensuring that initiatives within it are executed on time and properly, as well as maintaining and operating the corresponding technological platforms.

Actively collaborating with the rest of the Infrastructure and Operations teams (Corporate Applications and Operations, Databases and Backup, Operations, Support and Security in Systems, Communications) and IT in general (Enterprise Architecture, Development and Clients, Analytics Center of Excellence, IT Governance) to meet the established objectives.

• In the Cloud domain, leading the strategic roadmap within the Journey to Cloud program, consolidating and accelerating cloud adoption and making the multi-cloud strategy a reality, supporting the group's multi-core strategy. Ensuring and updating the strategy as infrastructures adapt to the requirements of agility, security, availability, performance, capacity, and continuity, always balancing this with the need to operate with excellence and efficiency. This operation is based on the IaC paradigm, which involves a series of solutions and processes that must be maintained and evolved.
• In the DevOps domain, leading the strategic roadmap within the New Business Core Program, for which the DevOps strategy must respond to the needs of managing environments and software deployments in their different formats (PaaS/SaaS services and lightweight services), balancing the need to develop at scale and in parallel with the necessary stability of production.
• Organizing the Cloud & DevOps area, establishing quality standards for it, adapting departmental policies to its area of activity and ensuring compliance, as well as leading collaboration with other key IT and Business areas.
• Leading the definition/evolution of the strategy in the Hybrid Cloud and DevOps ecosystem, in line with existing strategic plans and objectives (Journey to Cloud, New Business Core) and ensuring its proper implementation and adoption.
• Establishing, monitoring, and controlling the objectives and budgets of the Cloud & DevOps technology area, both for the operation and maintenance of current systems and services (BAU) and for those of the Transformation Plan.
• Managing the Cloud & DevOps area, including team management, supplier management, project (and program) management, service and contract management, ensuring their progress is on time and in line with quality standards and corporate norms.

• Professional Experience:
• • Extensive experience in managing objectives, budgets, and technology areas, leading strategic transformation initiatives in complex corporate environments.
  • Proven track record in directing and coordinating internal teams, both technical and project management, as well as in managing projects, programs, and services, including highly complex organizational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining, implementing, and monitoring technology strategy, including master plans, business cases, and roadmaps, with a special focus on Journey to Cloud programs and platform modernization.
  • Leadership in cloud adoption and migration initiatives, covering all phases of the Journey to Cloud: assessment, target architecture definition, migration, modernization, and operations.
  • Experience in vendor management, contractual negotiation, and tendering processes, coordinating strategic technology partners.
  • Regular collaboration with Boards of Directors and C-Suites, aligning technology strategy with business objectives and facilitating executive decision-making.
  • Technical experience in administering and implementing hybrid cloud solutions, with a footprint in public clouds (preferably Microsoft Azure), on-premises infrastructures, and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
  • Experience in managing operations services, defining and evolving operating models focused on reliability, scalability, and risk control.
  • Leadership in Platform Engineering, designing and evolving internal platforms that standardize the consumption of infrastructure and cloud services, with an approach based on infrastructure as code (IaC) and GitOps.
  • Focus on Developer Experience (DevEx) through the creation of self-service portals, service catalogs, reusable patterns, and delivery accelerators.
  • Experience in event-driven operations automation, as well as in defining and operating automation offices.
  • Management of software environments and deployments in large-scale transformation programs, especially in highly regulated contexts.
• Technical skills:
• • Cloud: Microsoft Azure as the preferred platform, oriented towards hybrid environments, corporate platforms, and operations at scale.
  • Containers: OpenShift / Kubernetes for executing and standardizing workloads on cloud and on-premises platforms.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, and Python, applied to the provisioning and operation of infrastructure and platforms, covering Day-0, Day-1, and Day-2 scenarios.
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere in corporate environments and integration with hybrid architectures.
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (preferably SUSE), and AIX, and knowledge of their ecosystem of management, configuration, and control tools.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and PMP, applied to projects, programs, and transformation processes.
  • Service Management: ITSM / ITIL methodologies, oriented towards service operations management, continuous improvement, and risk control.
  • Environment and Software Delivery Management: Methodologies and practices based on GitOps and Gitflow, focusing on operational reliability, automation, and reducing manual intervention.
• Valuable Technical Knowledge:
• • Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • CI/CD Solutions (GitHub/BitBucket, Nexus, Jenkins/Tecton/Azure DevOps).
  • Storage: Block, file, and object storage, preferably on HDS (Hitachi Data Systems) technology.
  • Hardware (HW) Management: Preferably based on Cisco technologies (compute and networking) and IBM Power.
