Requirements

What we're looking for

More than 4 years of experience in backend development with Java.
Solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
Experience in microservices architectures.
Design, development, and integration of REST APIs.
Experience with relational databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalents.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Demonstrable experience in projects within the banking, payment methods, fintech, or insurance sectors.
Experience with critical business applications and support for production environments.
Intermediate level English.

Nice to have

Experience with Apache Kafka.
Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture.
Experience in AWS, AKS, or OpenShift (OCP).
Knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger.
Experience in automated testing with JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.

The role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with more than 4 years of experience in application development and microservices architectures.

The selected person will participate in a technological project within the financial sector, working on critical business applications, integrations with corporate systems, and high-availability backend solutions.

Demonstrable experience in banking, payment methods, fintech, or insurance projects is essential.

Backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices and REST APIs.
Technical support and incident resolution in production.
Integration with financial platforms and corporate systems.
Participation in deployments and continuous integration and delivery processes.
Development and maintenance of solutions in cloud architectures and distributed environments.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams under Agile methodologies.
Ensuring the quality, performance, and stability of applications.
