Requirements

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in Java development.
Hands-on experience with Java 17. Java 21 will be valued.
Development of applications and microservices with Spring Boot.
Practical mastery of REST APIs.
Knowledge of Spring Security and JWT.
Knowledge of resilience and fault tolerance: retry, circuit breaker, etc.
Experience with Maven and Git version control.
Experience with Jenkins and continuous integration.
Use of Docker and configuration via Dockerfile or Docker Compose.
Development of unit and integration tests, using tools such as Mockito.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and software quality best practices.

Nice to have

Experience with SOAP services.
Knowledge of Kubernetes.
Experience in monitoring and metrics tools.
Knowledge of Elastic / ELK.
Experience with JMeter and performance testing.
Knowledge of Angular or other frontend technologies.

The role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with at least 4 years of experience in Java application development, to join a project based on microservices architectures.

We are looking for a person with solid knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, experience in API development, and special attention to software quality, testing, and application resilience.

What you'll do

Development and maintenance of backend services in Java.
Implementation and evolution of microservices architectures.
Development and integration of REST APIs.
Application of resilience and fault tolerance mechanisms.
Implementation of unit and integration tests.
Participation in continuous integration and deployment processes.
Analysis of logs, metrics, and application behavior.
Collaboration with the technical team following agile methodologies.
