Requirements

What we're looking for

Higher Technician degree in Telecommunications and Computer Systems, or equivalent training.
Fortinet NSE 4 certification or equivalent/higher.
Juniper JNCIP-ENT or JNCIP-SEC certification.
High level of Catalan.

Nice to have

At least 4 years of experience in networks and communications.
Experience in perimeter security and firewall administration.
Knowledge of routing, VLAN, and dynamic protocols.
Experience with SD-WAN technologies and network segmentation.
Integration of local infrastructures with cloud services.
Experience in the renewal of network electronics and LAN/WLAN environments.
Preparation of technical documentation, CMDB management, and handover of services to operations.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Involvement in projects for the evolution and improvement of network and security infrastructures.
Salary between €35,000 and €45,000 gross per year, depending on experience and the competencies provided.
Schedule from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:30 h and Friday from 8:00 to 14:00 h.

The role

At AD4 Octógono, we are looking for a Network and Perimeter Security Technician to participate in projects for the renewal, improvement, and evolution of communications and security infrastructures.

The selected person will work in corporate network environments, collaborating on the updating of network electronics, the configuration of perimeter security solutions, and the integration of on-premise infrastructures with cloud environments.

What you'll do

Renewal and improvement of LAN/WLAN infrastructures in corporate buildings: switches, firewalls, and access points.
Administration and configuration of perimeter security, routing, VLAN, and dynamic routing protocols.
Implementation and maintenance of SD-WAN solutions and network segmentation.
Integration of on-premise infrastructures with cloud environments.
Intervention in machine rooms: rack installation, labeling, and cable organization.
Preparation and updating of technical documentation and CMDB.
Preparation and handover of changes to the operation and maintenance team (RUN service).
Execution of technical changes of limited scope (small changes), with a reference planning of 16 hours distributed over five days.
